How do I find a template on the platform?
You can find a list of Templates under the + button at the bottom of the screen. You can also find prompts in your favorite creators’ profiles.
How do I start editing?
Once you play the Template, you will notice an “Edit” Button on the top of the screen. Simply tap this to start creating your own version!
How do I change character?
When editing your template, simply tap the characters button and select from the available characters!
How do I change background?
When editing your template, simply tap the backgrounds button and select from the available backgrounds.
How do I add a new choice?
Currently, you can only edit existing choices on mobile. To create your own choices, log-in to the web engine with the same email you used on the app. Then add your choices in node view!
How do I add my own characters and backgrounds?
Currently, you can upload your custom art only on the web engine! To get access to art uploading, apply here! Then make sure to read our guide on creating art for a game!
How do I release my game?
To enter the publish screen, tap the “Publish” button at the top of the screen or navigate to the end of the story. Make sure to add your title, description, cover, and tags!
How do I change the cover?
You can change your cover on the publish screen. You can also crop your cover at this stage. Make sure to replace with something bright colored and a focus on faces. Remember, your cover is your first impression, so don’t miss your chance to wow your fans!
Where is my game after I release it?
You will find your released game right away in your profile on the app! Don’t forget to share with your friends and family to start getting reads right away!
How do I share my game with my friends and family?
Tap the share button on your cover to generate a unique link for your game! Psst — any new player who uses your link will get 1 ❤️ and so will you!
