EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Arcana Love Quest event (the "Event") will commence on Nov 17, 2023, at 8:01 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT") and conclude on Dec 20, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. PT (the "Event Period"). During this time, participants will engage in a series of challenges and competitions as detailed on the Event's landing page. The Event Period and other key dates may be extended as indicated on the official "Website" (as defined below).

By participating in Love Quest, each participant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules, the Terms of Use, and the decisions of Dorian Inc. ("Sponsor"), which shall be final and binding in all respects.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Social media contest

• Take the personality test you find on this website

• Share your results to social media

• Follow @dorian.live and @thearcanagame

• Three randomly selected winner will each receive a $50 gift card

Join your love interest’s guild

• To be eligible for the prizes, you must join one and only one guild through the form on our Discord & at this link before the finale. You can only receive prizes for streams you attend.

Run to Become Guild Apprentice

Apply to become a Guild Apprentice by filling out the designated Typeform. Your application must include:

• A clear photo.

• An introduction.

• Your chosen love interest.

• By applying, you acknowledge the eligibility requirements. You must:

• Be over 18 years old.

• Be able to stream in English.

• Create a simple video to campaign for others to vote for you / join your guild.

• Commit to at least three streams in these date ranges

• Round 1: Dec 4-6

• Round 2: Dec 7-8

• Round 3: Dec12-14

• Finale: Dec 18-20

• Be willing to stream with your camera on.

• Guild Apprentices will be elected through a dedicated voting channel on our Discord server. Each user can cast a single vote for one Guild Apprentice candidate. Votes for multiple contestants by the same person will not be counted. In the case of a tie, an additional round of voting will be held for the tied contestants.

Winning Conditions - Rounds 1, 2, 3:

• Finalists will be selected based on the total amount of points they accumulate during their stream. Each trivia game has an equal number of points.

• Points are generated by making “correct” choices in trivia choices.

• Some choices will require guessing the correct answer in a random scenario. Each Guild will have the same number of these. 

• Guild Apprentices can direct their fans to make certain choices, but final answers will be selected through Dorian’s livestream voting technology. Whichever choice wins the majority of votes will be recorded as the official answer.  

• Players can help their Guild succeed by playing The Arcana in advance. 

• The Guilds with the highest point scores will advance to the grand finale. In the event of a tie, finalists will be determined based on the number of users who voted for choices during the stream.

Winning Conditions - Final Round:

• The top scoring game of Round 3 will join the “Finale” – a livestream that will include rounds of trivia, strategy, and puzzles.

• The finalist must complete the full game session with the goal for their character to “survive” to the end.

• Survival will rely on making “correct” choices in trivia, puzzles, strategy choices.

• Guild Leaders can direct their fans to make certain choices, but final answers will be selected through Dorian’s livestream voting technology. Whichever choice wins the majority of votes will be recorded as the official answer. 

• The game will be structured such that the Guild Leader can win or lose. Winning will yield 200 hearts for all Guild attendees. Losing will yield 100 hearts for all Guild attendees. If you have over 100 members registered in your Guild, you will get an additional 25 hearts in both scenarios.

Any breaking of community guidelines, cheating, or inappropriate behavior will immediately disqualify your guild from participation.

WINNER/FINALIST NOTIFICATION

Once selected, potential Grand Prize winners will be notified through email and/or the Dorian App using the contact information provided at the time of entry. If a potential winner does not respond within five (5) days of the first notification attempt, or if the prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, an alternate winner may be selected.

5. GRAND PRIZE

One (1) Grand Prize is available.  The Grand Prize consists of: 

• Featuring on the app, Dorian social media, and consultation with the Dorian team.

• A Visa Gift Card valued at Five Hundred United States Dollars ($500).

• Character art for your OC character, rendered either as a clear background PNG which can be used to create your game, or an illustration with a background.

GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS

Except as set forth herein, no cash alternative or substitution of prizes will be allowed, except Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute prizes of comparable value if any prize listed is unavailable, in whole or in part, for any reason.  Prizes will be awarded only if the potential prize winner fully complies with these Official Rules.  All portions of the prize(s) are non-assignable and non-transferable.  Any prizes pictured in point-of-sale, online, television and print advertising, promotional packaging, and other Contest materials are for illustrative purposes only.  All ARV are subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for purposes of these Official Rules and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between guidelines, disclosures or other statements contained in any such promotional materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.  All details and other restrictions of the prize(s) not specified in these Official Rules will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.  The Grand Prize winner shall be solely responsible for all federal, state, local and/or provincial taxes, and the reporting consequences thereof, and for any other fees or costs associated with the applicable prize.  If required by law, Sponsor reserves the right to withhold and remit to the appropriate taxing authorities the amount of any tax or taxes due.  With respect to non-cash prizes, it may be legally necessary under the United States Internal Revenue Code (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) for the Grand Prize winner to pay the amount of any tax before receiving the prize.  Each potential winner (or, if the potential winner is a minor, their parent or legal guardian) may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and where imposing such condition is legal, a Publicity Release, and any other documents as required by Sponsor to deliver the prize (collectively, the “Prize Claim Documents”). Sponsor reserves the right to conduct background checks on the potential winner prior to granting any award.  Sponsor also reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any individual who has been charged with or convicted of a felony or misdemeanor, is delinquent on child support, spousal support, tax payments or any other government ordered payment, has or is suspected of failing to comply with any provision of these Official Rules or the Terms of Use, including, but not limited to, having made any false statements in connection with his/her participation in the Contest. Should it be determined that a potential winner has made a false statement in any document required by Sponsor, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify the potential winner and select an alternate winner.  If a potential winner (or a minor potential winner’s parent or legal guardian) fails or refuses to sign and return all the Prize Claim Documents within five (5) days after being notified that they have been selected as the potential winner (or a shorter time if required by exigencies), the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.  

Sponsor makes no warranties, and hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, concerning any prize furnished in connection with the Contest.  WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, SUCH PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SPONSOR HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
