To Enter the Contest

  • Publish your story game on Dorian by February 20th, 2025 at 11:59 PM.

  • Creators may submit multiple entries / stories.

  • Minimum of 1 Episode to start and conclude the story.

  • Must be a video-based story (such as “Leaves - Interactive Cosplay” on the Dorian app), not exclusively static images or text (animations are acceptable).

  • Content may be linear or interactive via player choices, affection points, or multiple endings.

  • Your murder may be a character of your own creation, or one from the SlashFic universe. No other existing characters from TV, games or films, please.

Eligibility

Please take a moment to read and understand the following terms and conditions to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants.

1. Eligibility:

  • The contest is open to all individuals who have a Dorian account, excluding employees and affiliates of Dorian.

  • All regions are eligible to participate excluding Cuba, Iran, Myanmar, North Korean, Russia, Syria, and Venezuela.

2. Submission Guidelines:

  • Create a video-based story about seducing a masked slasher villain to save your life.

  • Story must consist of a majority of video-based content.

  • Creators may submit multiple entries / stories.

  • Minimum of 1 Episode to start and conclude the story.

  • Must use this template when creating your game.

  • Content may be linear or interactive via player choice or affection points.

  • Your murder may be a character of your own creation, or one from the SlashFic universe.

  • Game must be published by February 20th, 2025, 11:59 PM PT.

3. Criteria for Winning:

Winners will be determined by:

  • Highest % completions of a story. Completions will count from publishing of game through February 20th, 11:59 PM PT.

  • Most bookmarked story. Bookmarks will count from publishing of game through February 20th, 11:59 PM PT.

  • Editorial Choice, based on a point system of up to 25 points:

    • [5 Points] Story : How strong is your hook / narrative? Does the story conclude or have a compelling cliff hanger?

    • [5 Points] Characters : How strong / enticing is the character(s)?

    • [5 Points] Dialogue : Is the dialogue natural?

    • [5 Points] Set / Costume / Lighting : Does the place the story is taking place look and  fit the story?

    • [5 Points] Inclusion of Interactivity. Such as adding choices, multiple endings, affection point, etc. (Not required for entry but can earn up to 5 points.)

Only one winner will be selected per category. In the event of one creator wins  multiple categories, Judge(s) will vote amongst themselves which single category they will fall into.

In the event of a tie breaker, the winner will be decided by Judges based off of the defined point system above.

5. Prizes:

Each winner will receive a $250 Visa Gift Card. 

6. Important Dates:

  • Contest Start Date: February 14th, 2025, 12:00 AM PT

  • Contest End Date: February 20th, 2025, 11:59 PM PT

  • Bookmarks and % Completions will count from publishing of game through February 23rd, 11:59 PM PT.

  • Winner Announcement Date: February 24th, 2025.

  • Winners will be alerted via the email used on their Dorian Creator account, and announced on Dorian social platforms.

8. Consent:

By participating in this contest, you grant Dorian the right to feature your story and related content on our platforms and social media  for promotional purposes. Proper credits will be given.

10. Compliance:

All participants must adhere to the rules and regulations outlined in these terms and conditions and any additional terms and policies provided by Dorian.

11. Disqualification:

Any violation of these rules and regulations may result in disqualification from the contest.

Using copyrighted material without proper authorization may result in disqualification.

12. Changes and Updates:

The event organizers reserve the right to modify the rules and regulations or make any necessary updates. Please check this page for any changes.
