Upload your own art assets, start streaming to build your audience, and make money from your games!

Uploading Art

Want to upload your own characters and backgrounds? Submit your profile for consideration here!

Once you’ve got access, it’s time to start building your library of assets!

You’ll need to use the web engine to manage your asset library. You can access the web engine by logging in with the same email here.

You will see buttons for “Backgrounds” and "Character Art Library.”

Upload your own original art characters and comics

Adding Characters

Click “Upload Character Art” to open upload window
Upload a character in a .png file format with a transparent background.
Use Scale slider to zoom in/out.
Drag to reposition.
Set a name for your character.
Click “Upload”

Your character will now be in your Character Library and accessible in any story you create.

To access this character art from the story, open your story and click the “Characters” button. Add a new character and select the “Custom” button in the header.

Click “Image” to add a base image for your character’s Neutral expression.

You can add additional expression variations into the same character.

When you’ve added all your expressions, save the character with a name that will appear in dialogue.

Now, when you write dialogue in your story, you’ll find this character and its expressions available!

Creators have the ability to set certain choices to require Hearts. These are exclusive scenes designed to reward the fans that support you. The higher amount of support your fans give you, the better reward you offer them. You can set your pricing tier on the choice.

Host Fun Livestreams

Livestream hosts earn money when fans “cheer” them with Hearts. You will be notified every time someone sends you hearts during your live.

Tip!

Want to earn more hearts? Stream with a group and turn the dial to PARTY! Big groups with a fun and social vibe get the Hearts flowing!

Share your art through Revenue Share Templates

Artists and IP-holders on Dorian can now monetize their creativity through revenue share templates. Here’s how it works:

A creator releases a template with a self-determined revenue share percentage.
Other creators can use this template to make their own spin-offs.
As soon as they make money, they owe the set percentage back to the original creator.

This is a great way for under-served creators like character artists to start monetizing their work! Forge new partnerships with talented creators to start earning together today!

How do I do it?

To start sharing Revenue Share Templates, hit “Make a prompt” on your story and then select the “claim ownership” option. Make sure you set your revenue share % in story settings. Your revenue share will kick in as soon as someone starts earning Hearts from their spin-off!
